ABOUT NICK

Hello and thanks for visiting. I was born in the U.K. and moved to Vancouver Island, Canada when I was 12. I tried to live in England again at 17 but learned that you can’t go back – what you’re looking for is no longer there. A sense of exile is what led me to write and has taught me the necessity of humour.

I have traveled a lot and lived in Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton, Tucson, and Toronto. I’m settled in the Okanagan Valley now.

I think the aim of art and science is the same: to find our place in the universe – to find out who we are – which is a fool’s errand to be sure. When I write, I take a journey towards that.
